About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team at Okapi and Co. Limited, a growing agency based near Shaftesbury, Dorset. This part-time role offers flexibility, with the potential for increased hours as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns, including email marketing and online advertising
  • Help manage and update client websites, ensuring content is accurate and engaging
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategy development
  • Assist with preparing reports on campaign performance and key metrics
  • Coordinate with team members and clients to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, including AI-driven tools and strategies

What We're Looking For

  • A keen interest in digital marketing and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and tools (training will be provided)
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Interest in or experience with AI tools for marketing
