Six Hours a Week Back, and a Field Sales App Live in Two Weeks
Field workers recorded their hours on paper. Every week, someone in the office had to collect the sheets, decipher them, and type them up. It took around six hours a week, and every re-typed figure was a chance to introduce an error. The business also had an idea for a field sales app and had tried to build it themselves on Lovable, but could not get it live.
We built FieldTime, a custom time-keeping app the field team uses on their phones. Time entries, off-sick records with accident-book prompts, and fuel logs are captured once, at source, by the person who did the work. The office exports the data instead of re-typing it. We then built their field sales app and had it live in two weeks. Both are still being developed as the business finds new uses for them.
